Project overview
The Université de Kananga (UNIKAN) is the premier public higher education institution in the Kasaï-Central province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Operating from its newly built, state-of-the-art Katambayi Campus inaugurated in January 2026, UNIKAN is designed to international and LMD academic standards. Hosting a capacity of over 3,200 students, the complex features 16 modern lecture halls, 14 specialized research laboratories, comprehensive computer centers, two vast libraries, and dedicated student residences. UNIKAN is fully committed to driving regional innovation and offering top-tier training across economics, law, medicine, polytechnic engineering, and agronomy.
